The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad discussed the doctoral thesis entitled (The effect of the mobile correspondent strategy on cognitive flexibility and learning some volleyball skills among preparatory school students), by the student (Haneen Maysam Abbas).
The study aimed to prepare a measure of cognitive flexibility among preparatory school students, in addition to identifying the degree of cognitive flexibility, preparing educational units according to the mobile correspondent strategy in learning the technical performance of some basic volleyball skills for the preparatory stage in schools in Wasit Governorate, identifying the impact of the mobile correspondent strategy in cognitive flexibility and learning some basic volleyball skills.
The study came out with a number of results and recommendations, the most important of which is proving the validity and suitability of the cognitive flexibility scale that was prepared for the research sample. The mobile correspondent strategy also helped increase students’ self-confidence by providing them with the opportunity and making the learner is the focus of the educational process and not just as a recipient. Therefore, the study recommends emphasizing the use of modern methods, and strategies especially the mobile correspondent strategy in teaching volleyball. There is also an emphasis on introducing the mobile correspondent strategy into educational units to develop cognitive flexibility and learn the skills of blocking the wall, defending the court, and hitting the volleyball for students.
This study achieves the sustainable development goals of good health, well-being, good education, and partnerships to achieve the goals.
